What's happening at Corinthian Park Tennis Club

Coach News December 2014

A new coach is being currently sought, with the aim for their appointment by the beginning of Term 1 in February. They will be announced as soon as possible.


Court hire arrangements have also changed. Please contact Liquor Barons for bookings and the key on 9457 6439.

Club members will need to pay full price and then return their receipt to the treasurer for a refund of $5 per hour.


Xmas Dinner 2014

Details for this years Xmas Dinner function are now available:

Date: Saturday 20th DECEMBER. Cost = $30 Adults and $20 for children under 16.

Menu is on the notice board and please place your names down for catering numbers, and pay your money to Bruce Etherington ASAP.



Season 2014-15 has started

Last Saturday was the Opening Day at the Club for the 2014/15 season. It was great weather for tennis and 20 courts were filled for social play. After social play, around 90 people stayed on for the BBQ. Thank you to Morag, Patty and helpers for all your work in decorating the club, organising and cooking all the food for the BBQ. A great start to the season!

This Saturday 18th October is the JW Cole Trophy Day commencing at 1.30pm, followed by savouries at the end of play.



Social Events 2014-15

The following events have been planned and scheduled by Morag, our social coordinator for season 2014/15


  • September 28th - Car / Bike Rally and Club Picnic at Piney Lakes Murdoch Drive Murdoch
  • October 11th - Opening Day BBQ
  • December 20th - Christmas Dinner
  • January 25th - Australia Day BBQ
  • March 14th - International Night (stalls with cuisine from around the world)
  • May 24th - Chocolate Frog


Details for each event will be published in the weeks beforehand, and announced at the club.


Club Championships 2014 Draw

Club Championships for 2014 begin this weekend (5th and 6th April) and the draw and times are attached.

Social tennis will carry on as usual - remember our social play is now on "Autumn hours", with Saturday's and Sundays both starting at 2pm.
